About

Brian Kaminski is an Operating Partner at LFM Capital, where he focuses on working with LFM’s portfolio companies on executing operational initiatives. Brian brings to LFM more than 23 years of operations, management and leadership experience with a focus on process improvement, strategic planning and value creation.

Background

Prior to joining LFM, Brian was President and CEO of Heartland Steel Products, an LFM portfolio company.  Prior to Heartland, Brian spent 3 years as CEO of Burgaflex, a provider of tube and host assemblies to highway and off-road OEM customers, where, under Brian’s leadership, the company delivered record results.

Brian held roles at Trico Products, Carter Fuel Systems, AVM Industries, Whitesell, NSS Technologies and Precision Castparts after beginning his career as a Production Supervisor at Dearborn Stamping for Ford Motor Company.  Brian spent 10 years at Ford on various teams, including production, quality and engineering.  Throughout his career, Brian has learned to drive results and lead organizations by paying attention to details and executing on well thought-out strategies, resulting in dramatically improved growth and profitability.

Brian received a bachelor’s degree from Eastern Michigan University and attended University of Michigan’s Ross School of Business for Leadership while at Precision Castparts.

Outside of work, Brian loves spending time with his fiancé, Adrienne, and their four children, including coaching his kids’ teams from flag football to basketball. Brian also enjoys boating, golfing, traveling and being active in his community.   

Operating Partners and other portfolio company resources are employees of LFM Capital, but LFM Capital receives reimbursements from portfolio companies for the services provided by these individuals.
