The LFM Quarterly // Interns Rock!

Check out this edition to learn more about LFM's intern program, team updates, our latest news, and a recap of our annual investor meeting!

Oh, the Places You'll Go!

LFM has been bringing interns into the fold since 2015, providing opportunities for more than 30 young adults looking to learn about private equity. We have hosted interns through a partnership with Vanderbilt’s Human and Organizational Development program, as well as interns from both undergraduate and graduate programs at colleges and universities in Nashville and beyond.

We have also provided opportunities for individuals leaving the Army before starting business school. Our interns are invaluable to our business development team in helping us screen potential targets and deals and also get involved in various other aspects of the deal process.

It is our great pleasure to provide mentorship and professional guidance to our interns and are thrilled to see them go on to jobs in investment banking, consulting, and more.

Check out what our recent crew has to say:

LFM Hosts Annual Investor Meeting in Nashville

Hitting it out of the park at the Nashville Sounds game

LFM Capital hosted our investors, team, and a few portfolio company leaders to cheer on the Nashville Sounds. Our enthusiasm was effective - the Sounds handily took the Stripers. An evening at the ballpark has become an Annual Meeting tradition. We love having the Sounds Stadium (and it's awesome guitar-shaped scoreboard) a short walk from our office in the Germantown neighborhood of Nashville.

Taking the stage at the legendary Bluebird Cafe

We took our annual meeting to the stage this year at the famous Bluebird Café.  The Bluebird is treasured by locals and tourists alike and is well known as the place where artists like Taylor Swift, Garth Brooks, and many others got their start. The Bluebird is also featured prominently on the TV show, Nashville. After the meeting, the LFM Team and our investors were dazzled by a Songwriter's Round featuring Kelly Archer (Wild as Her, Corey Kent), Lee Thomas Miller (You're Gonna Miss This, Trace Adkins), and Wendell Mobley (There Goes My Life, Kenny Chesney).
